VEGA

Vega means 'One who is fast'. Raj comics had published this under the 'King Comics' title. It was a short lived series. However, the stories were a class apart. In this image I have tried to capture Vega's speed.

Yodha

This time something different. Yodha series was about a warrior who was transported into the future during a war. His future is our present. From the second issue, its focus shifts to Yodha's travels and travails in India. It was a short lived series (when compared to Nagrag, Dhruv etc). The main weapon of Yodha was Dhak-man-ghan a amalgation of Bow, Hammer , Shield and Spear. This image was my attempt at capturing Yodha in a battle mode

Nagraj

Nagraj, in a way, was and is India's answer to Superman. Nagraj was the first publication from Raj Comics. Its first five issues were written by Mr. Parashuram who later created Angara for Tulsi comics. Nagraj has innumerable snakes in his body. They reside in microscopic form inside him. Any kind of snake can become a part of his body. He communicates with them using telepathy. In this sketch I have tried to capture the telepathic communication.

Jamboo

Jamboo was the main reason I started reading comics. The character was called 'Super computer ka baap'. The catch point was the weapons he could conceal in his body. So when I got a chance to draw him, I couldnt let it go. In the image, Jamboo is in a fighting stance after destroying the enemy base.

Bhokaal

I was going through one of the Dhruv comics when I saw an ad of upcoming comic of Bhokal. He was surrounded by monsters. So I thought how will it be make him a bit more 'he-manisque' and put him in a background without any monsters. And the result was the image you see on the left.
